How to play

Mouse to move shoot automatically

Mini game originally aimed to be made during the "All by AI" game jam 13-23 Feb 2023.  But the Jam got abandoned. I kept working on this project in my spare time anyway.

The jam was about creating a game using some of the many AI-resources that lately have become available to the public.

19 Feb-10Mar - Added Generic Pool for Bullets. Added sound effects. Player now moves towards a cross-hair instead of teleporting to mouse position. Added a white flash when player gets hit. Added a pause screen. Added a Boss with special behavior. Added text on the UI for remaining enemies and spawns (mostly for testing purposes). Added a transition between levels and also a level complete text. Asses collectable stars that animates and moves downwards.

18 Feb - Created a level design system for creating waves of enemies with scriptable objects and points that can be placed on the scene and their position gives the enemies start position creation X- position as well as the time they are created. This will make it easier and faster to create the levels.

17 Feb - Changed Render Pipeline and played with some lightening. Took away the Post processing. Added particles for bullets and enemies being destroyed. I decided on a solution for the enemy creation. Using animation and having 11 slots where the animation can origin from the top this makes it possible to move the enemies animation path by changing its parent.

16 Feb - Added out of bounds detection for bullets and enemies. Added detection of bullets hitting enemies and dealing with enemy health and removal of both. Added particle systems for destruction of enemies.

15 Feb - Created basic movement for player and a player ship. Player can also generate a blue clone that lives for a few seconds and fires. Also created an enemy and an enemy spawner and some basic movement behavior .

13 Feb - Created some art I might use for the game.
Also made this start menu and implemented the
basic functionality of it. It is now responsive. I might

 change the settings tab to just be a mute/music button
on the top of the UI later.
